HPE Sales Executive Monica Gille Leaving Company for 'Next Chapter'

Monica Gille, Vice President of Sales for Enterprise and Global Accounts at Hewlett Packard Enterprise (HPE), has announced that she is leaving the company after a 25-year career, marking the end of a long tenure spanning leadership roles across Europe and North America.

Gille shared the news in a LinkedIn post, describing her departure as the beginning of a "next chapter" in her professional journey.

"After an incredible 25 years journey at HPE, the time has come for me to step into my next chapter," Gille wrote. "Reflecting on my time here, from France, Switzerland and Western Europe leadership roles to driving our Global & Enterprise Accounts across North America, I am immensely proud of what we have built together."

During her most recent role as Vice President of Sales for Enterprise and Global Accounts, Gille led HPE's top 500 enterprise customers across North America, overseeing a business portfolio representing more than $7 billion in annual revenue. She played a key role in helping customers accelerate hybrid cloud adoption, AI initiatives, and large-scale digital transformation programs.

Gille began her HPE career as a software development engineer before transitioning into sales leadership positions across Switzerland and other European markets. In 2020, she relocated to the United States to serve as Vice President of Sales Strategy for North America, later taking charge of HPE's Enterprise and Global Accounts organization.

Her departure comes as HPE continues to strengthen its enterprise sales strategy under its evolving leadership structure. Earlier this month, HPE highlighted increased investments in partner-led growth across enterprise and public sector markets, reflecting the company's continued focus on expanding customer engagement through its channel ecosystem.

Industry partners praised Gille for her collaborative leadership and strong commitment to customers and channel partners. C.R. Howdyshell, CEO of Advizex, credited her support in helping the company secure a major AI engagement during its early enterprise AI initiatives.

In her farewell message, Gille thanked HPE employees, customers, and partners for their collaboration throughout her career.

"While it is bittersweet to say goodbye to such a special company, I am deeply excited about what lies ahead. I will be sharing details on my next move very soon, so stay tuned!"
