ESET Brings PRIVATE Scanning Solutions to AWS Marketplace for Faster Cloud Threat Detection

Cybersecurity company ESET has announced that its ESET PRIVATE Scanning Solutions are now available through AWS Marketplace, giving AWS customers another option for procuring and deploying the company's threat-scanning technology within cloud environments.

The availability is aimed at simplifying procurement and management for AWS customers while helping security and DevOps teams deploy ESET's multilayered threat-scanning capabilities more quickly.

According to ESET, customers can purchase and manage the PRIVATE Scanning Solutions directly through their AWS Marketplace account, potentially reducing the time required to deploy the technology across cloud-based workloads.

Malware Scanning Designed for Cloud Workloads

ESET PRIVATE Scanning Solutions use a static scanning engine designed to process large volumes of inbound data and provide threat detection that can scale with changing workloads.

The technology can inspect files before they are stored, shared or processed, allowing organizations to scan data at points where files enter applications and cloud environments.

ESET said the solution uses behavioral analysis to identify malware and zero-day threats and can be integrated into applications, storage platforms, upload portals and other environments.

The company says the scanning engine can detect malware in milliseconds without requiring a full endpoint security deployment.

Streamlining Security Procurement

ESET said the AWS Marketplace availability is intended to address demand for simpler procurement and deployment processes, particularly among organizations operating security and DevOps workloads in the cloud.

Doyle said making ESET PRIVATE Scanning Solutions available through AWS Marketplace is intended to simplify procurement while allowing organizations to integrate threat scanning into cloud applications and help protect critical data flows.

The move expands the available procurement channel for ESET's cloud-oriented threat-scanning technology while targeting organizations that need to inspect large volumes of files without deploying traditional endpoint security across every workload.
