Acronis Expands AI-Native Cyber Platform to Advance Autonomous IT for MSPs

Acronis has introduced the next phase of its AI-native Cyber Platform, expanding its capabilities across cybersecurity, infrastructure management, business intelligence, and workflow automation. The announcement was made during the Acronis Accelerate: The Journey to Autonomous IT event, where the company outlined its vision for a unified platform that enables technicians, business teams, and AI agents to collaborate within a single operating environment.

The latest platform enhancements build on a series of product launches introduced since January 2026 and are designed to help MSPs simplify operations, automate routine tasks, and improve service delivery through AI-powered workflows.

Acronis said its AI strategy is based on the "By AI, With AI, For AI" framework. The approach focuses on using AI to accelerate product development, embedding AI-driven intelligence and automation into daily MSP operations, and helping partners manage increasingly AI-driven customer environments. Instead of adding isolated AI capabilities to individual products, the company is integrating them into the Acronis Cyber Platform to deliver a unified user experience.

Jan-Jaap Jager, CEO of Acronis, said the company's AI-native approach is built into the platform's architecture rather than being introduced as standalone functionality. He added that the goal is to provide MSPs with a secure environment where technicians and AI agents can work together efficiently while supporting business growth.

New AI Capabilities for MSPs

As part of the latest platform update, Acronis introduced four integrated capabilities designed to improve visibility, automate workflows, and streamline IT management.

• Acronis Cyber Console provides a unified workspace that combines cybersecurity, infrastructure management, automation, and business operations into a single AI-native interface for technicians, business teams, and AI agents.
• Acronis Cyber Intelligence delivers actionable insights across customer environments, contracts, and protected endpoints. The platform helps MSPs identify service gaps, uncover revenue opportunities, anticipate operational issues, reduce support tickets, and improve decision-making.
• Acronis Service Desk introduces AI-powered ticket automation through automated enrichment, analysis, and remediation. The solution also supports integrations with third-party technologies to simplify service desk operations.
• Acronis Cyber Studio enables MSPs to build and manage AI-driven workflows using natural language while maintaining governance, visibility, and control over automated processes.

According to Acronis, these capabilities are designed to help service providers progress from AI-assisted decision-making to workflow automation and governed autonomous execution, reducing the complexity of managing multiple security, service desk, and automation platforms.

Rob Rae, Corporate Vice President of Community and Partner Experience at Pax8, said the managed services industry is entering a new phase of AI adoption, adding that platforms combining intelligence, automation, and operational visibility will help partners evolve their service delivery models.

Cyber Frame Adds Infrastructure Migration Capabilities

Acronis also announced new migration capabilities for Acronis Cyber Frame, enabling partners to migrate workloads from VMware and Microsoft Azure to Cyber Frame Cloud or Cyber Frame Local. The new workflows support staged migrations and controlled cutovers, providing MSPs and cloud service providers with greater flexibility when modernizing infrastructure.

Paul Maritz, former CEO of VMware and former Chairman of the Acronis Board, described Cyber Frame as an integrated platform that combines infrastructure, backup, disaster recovery, security, remote access, and automation while offering organizations a simplified migration path from existing environments.

Expanding the Foundation for Autonomous IT

Since January 2026, Acronis has expanded its platform with several major offerings, including Acronis Archival Storage, Acronis MDR by Acronis TRU, Acronis GenAI Protection, and Acronis Cyber Frame. Together, these solutions extend the platform across long-term data protection, managed detection and response (MDR), AI governance, and infrastructure management, supporting the company's vision for autonomous IT operations.

Supporting Open-Source AI Development

During the event, Acronis also joined Constructor Group and Virtuozzo in launching Constructor Fabric, an Apache 2.0-licensed open-source software delivery project managed by the independent Constructor Fabric Foundation.

The open-source platform enables organizations to use AI for software development, deployment, and lifecycle management through reusable components, automation, and built-in productivity insights. Acronis said Constructor Fabric will be available to partners and customers, allowing them to develop secure, scalable applications and extend the capabilities of the Acronis platform.
