Tech Mahindra and ServiceNow Expand Partnership to Scale Enterprise AI Deployments

Tech Mahindra and ServiceNow have expanded their multi-year partnership to help enterprises move artificial intelligence initiatives from pilot projects to production-scale deployments.

The companies said the expanded partnership will combine Tech Mahindra's industry, engineering, transformation and implementation expertise with the ServiceNow AI Platform to help organizations accelerate enterprise-wide automation, strengthen AI governance and achieve measurable business outcomes.

Partnership Focuses on Production-Ready Enterprise AI

A central element of the expanded partnership is the “Client Zero” approach, under which Tech Mahindra and the Mahindra & Mahindra Group are being used as large-scale validation environments for ServiceNow's AI capabilities before proven models are extended to other customers.

Tech Mahindra said its own ServiceNow deployment has already produced measurable operational results, including the handling of more than 100,000 cases per month across 90 countries.

The companies will use those experiences to develop repeatable approaches that can help customers accelerate AI adoption and reduce the time required to move from experimentation to production.

Industry-Specific AI Solutions

The partnership will focus on developing solutions tailored to industries including manufacturing, telecommunications, banking, financial services and insurance (BFSI), media and technology.

According to the companies, these solutions are intended to support faster transformation while improving governance and helping organizations optimize costs.

Tech Mahindra will also significantly expand its global ServiceNow practice and establish a dedicated AI & Innovation Center of Excellence within the practice.

The center will support deployment of ServiceNow AI capabilities, including the ServiceNow AI Control Tower and ServiceNow EmployeeWorks.

Focus on Measurable Business Outcomes

Beyond technology deployment, Tech Mahindra and ServiceNow said they will work with customers on transformation roadmaps, platform adoption, governance frameworks and measurement of business outcomes.

ServiceNow Chairman and CEO Bill McDermott said the partnership is aimed at putting AI to work at enterprise scale, adding that Tech Mahindra's deployment has already delivered cost benefits, improved experiences for 150,000 employees and optimized first-level IT support by approximately 25%.

“AI only matters when it creates value for people,” McDermott said, highlighting the companies' focus on translating AI capabilities into business results.

Tech Mahindra Emphasizes Trusted AI Execution

Mohit Joshi, Chief Executive Officer and Managing Director at Tech Mahindra, said enterprises are entering a phase in which the priority is shifting from AI experimentation to trusted execution at scale.

He said AI needs to be embedded into enterprise systems, workflows, controls and operating models to generate meaningful business value.

The expanded partnership with ServiceNow will bring together AI governance, industry expertise, platform capabilities and transformation services, according to Joshi, with the goal of helping customers operationalize AI responsibly and improve productivity.

Enterprise AI Moves From Pilots to Scale

The expanded partnership reflects a broader shift in enterprise AI strategy, with organizations increasingly looking to connect AI initiatives to existing workflows, governance structures and measurable business outcomes rather than running isolated pilot programs.

By combining ServiceNow's AI platform capabilities with Tech Mahindra's implementation and industry expertise, the companies aim to provide customers with a framework for scaling AI across enterprise operations.
