Amit Shukla Appointed FIAT India Automobiles as Chief Information Officer
FIAT India Automobiles has announced the appointment of Amit Shukla as its new Chief Information Officer (CIO), reinforcing the company's leadership team as it advances its digital transformation and enterprise technology modernization strategy.
A seasoned technology executive with nearly three decades of experience, Amit Shukla brings extensive expertise in enterprise IT, digital transformation, cybersecurity, SAP transformation, cloud computing, data governance, and business technology strategy. Over the course of his career, he has successfully aligned technology initiatives with business objectives across industries including automotive, FMCG, pharmaceuticals, manufacturing, engineering, petrochemicals, agrochemicals, retail, and textiles.
Before joining FIAT India Automobiles, Amit served as Vice President – IT (CIO) at Crystal Crop Protection Limited. His leadership journey also includes key technology roles at Mankind Pharma, Kirloskar Brothers Limited, RSPL Group, Finolex Industries, Tata Technologies, Trident Group, IBM India, and Videocon Industries.
Throughout his career, Amit has led several large-scale digital transformation programs, including SAP S/4HANA implementations, enterprise architecture modernization, cybersecurity enhancement initiatives, smart manufacturing projects, AI and machine learning adoption, robotic process automation (RPA), and global technology programs across North America, Europe, the Middle East, Africa, and Asia.
A certified Project Management Professional (PMP®), Amit has also been recognized among India's Top 100 CIOs and IT Leaders by IDG Foundry on multiple occasions, highlighting his contributions to enterprise technology leadership.
In his new role, Amit will spearhead FIAT India Automobiles' next phase of digital innovation, with a focus on modernizing enterprise platforms, strengthening cybersecurity, enhancing data-driven decision-making, and enabling business growth through technology-led transformation.
