HCLTech has announced a strategic partnership with Dolphin Semiconductor to co-develop energy-efficient chip solutions designed to meet the increasing performance and sustainability demands of modern digital infrastructure.

By combining HCLTech’s comprehensive capabilities in system-on-chip (SoC) architecture, design, and engineering with Dolphin’s proven low-power semiconductor IP, the partnership will enable enterprises to deploy high-efficiency SoCs that deliver strong compute performance while consuming significantly less energy.

The integrated approach will support a wide range of applications — from IoT devices requiring extended battery life to data center platforms managing power-intensive AI workloads.

“This collaboration expands the reach of our low-power IP into a broader set of markets,”
said Pierre-Marie Dell’Accio, Executive VP Engineering, Dolphin Semiconductor.
“Together, we can push the boundaries of energy-efficient computing for both edge and cloud environments.”

“As AI scales, data volumes accelerate and sustainability becomes essential, enterprises need intelligent silicon that balances speed and efficiency,”
said Hari Sadarahalli, CVP & Head of Engineering and R&D Services, HCLTech.
“Our partnership with Dolphin Semiconductor enables clients to innovate without compromise — with agility, high performance and environmental responsibility at the core.”

The collaboration underscores HCLTech’s ongoing commitment to sustainable semiconductor innovation, helping global organizations optimize compute power while reducing energy footprint across increasingly connected ecosystems.
