Dr. Johann Wadephul, Federal Minister for Foreign Affairs of the Federal Republic of Germany, visited the SAP Labs India Innovation Park in Bengaluru, reaffirming the growing Indo-German partnership in advancing digital innovation and shaping the future of technology. As part of his visit, Dr. Wadephul inaugurated the new SAP Experience Center, a state-of-the-art hub where enterprises can engage with real-life demonstrations, showcases, and presentations from SAP’s global portfolio. With this launch, Bengaluru becomes one of the few cities worldwide to host two SAP Experience Centers.
The German delegation, led by Dr. Wadephul, participated in a special session hosted by Sindhu Gangadharan, Managing Director, SAP Labs India and Head of Customer Innovation Services, SAP. Discussions centered on pressing global themes such as artificial intelligence and its regulation, democratisation of technology, and scaling digital public infrastructure. The session highlighted how India and Germany—long-standing partners—can leverage their complementary strengths to drive secure, inclusive, and sustainable digital growth.
