Nutanix and Netris Partner to Deliver Multitenant AI Infrastructure for Neoclouds and NVIDIA Cloud Providers

Nutanix

The strategic collaboration combines Nutanix Cloud Platform with Netris network automation to deliver secure, automated and scalable infrastructure across compute, networking and GPU environments.

Nutanix and Netris have announced a strategic collaboration to develop an integrated infrastructure stack for neoclouds and enterprises.

The jointly engineered solution will combine Nutanix Cloud Platform and its expertise in cloud infrastructure and compute orchestration with the Netris NAAM platform. The collaboration aims to provide a scalable, secure and multitenant infrastructure environment across different layers of enterprise and AI cloud infrastructure.

As demand for AI infrastructure continues to grow, neocloud providers and enterprises are deploying large GPU clusters to support increasingly diverse AI workloads. Delivering these resources as a service requires both software-based isolation and hardware-enforced isolation across the infrastructure, including compute layers, data processing units and physical network switches.

Automated Multitenant Infrastructure for AI Cloud Environments

The collaboration will bring together Nutanix’s cloud infrastructure capabilities and Netris’ network automation and multitenancy technology to create a secure infrastructure stack across bare-metal and virtualized environments.

The solution is designed to help infrastructure providers onboard customers quickly, maintain strict tenant separation from compute resources through the physical network, and deliver AI services through a cloud-like self-service experience.

Key capabilities of the jointly developed platform include:

  • Automated Network Fabric Operations: Automatically configures physical network infrastructure as tenant resources are provisioned. This is intended to reduce manual operations, accelerate deployment and improve consistency.
  • Unified Multitenant Networking: Provides a consistent networking experience across physical and virtual environments by translating Nutanix tenant requirements into the appropriate network services for bare-metal and virtualized GPU nodes.
  • Self-Service Cloud Networking: Offers cloud networking capabilities such as virtual private clouds (VPCs), elastic IPs, network address translation (NAT) and Layer 4 load balancers through a web console, REST API and Terraform.
  • High-Performance AI Factory Networking: Supports connectivity for demanding AI workloads, including edge, East-West, North-South, scale-up and host-based network traffic.
  • End-to-End Tenant Isolation: Extends hardware-enforced and software-based tenant isolation across the network, from virtual workloads to physical switching infrastructure, supporting secure GPU-as-a-Service offerings on shared infrastructure.

Nutanix and Netris Highlight the Need for Integrated AI Infrastructure

“Neoclouds and NVIDIA Cloud Partners are at the forefront of the AI transformation, but building the cloud operating stack required to monetize GPU clusters at scale is remarkably complex,” said Ketan Shah, Vice President, Product Management, Nutanix. “By pairing Nutanix’s Agentic AI solution with the Netris NAAM platform, we will provide AI cloud operators with an out-of-the-box solution to accelerate their journey from metals to margins. We chose to partner with Netris, a leader in network automation, abstraction, and multitenancy, to give operators true self-service networking across both bare-metal and virtualized environments. This will enable our partners to deliver secure, multitenant IaaS environments quickly while maintaining the simplicity and enterprise reliability that Nutanix is known for.”

Alex Saroyan, CEO and Co-Founder of Netris, highlighted the importance of coordinating compute and networking as AI infrastructure expands.

“AI infrastructure is scaling incredibly fast, and the network has to scale with it,” said Alex Saroyan, CEO and Co-Founder of Netris. “An AI cloud needs two layers working as one – Nutanix’s compute orchestration and virtualization, backed by deep operational leadership and experience, and Netris network automation, abstraction, and multitenancy. What makes this collaboration matter is that those layers stay continuously in sync, giving neoclouds and enterprises a single automated stack for secure, multitenant GPU services.”

Collaboration Targets Growing AI Infrastructure Demand Across MEA

The partnership also reflects increasing demand for AI infrastructure across the Middle East and Africa, where service providers and enterprises are looking to expand GPU capacity while maintaining security, operational efficiency and separation between customers and workloads.

“For neoclouds looking to monetise their infrastructure investments, the ability to deliver secure, multitenant AI services quickly and cost-effectively will be a key differentiator. Our collaboration with Netris brings together compute orchestration and network automation to simplify the delivery of AI infrastructure across bare-metal and virtualised environments. By enabling automated provisioning, robust tenant isolation and a cloud-like self-service experience, we aim to help providers accelerate time to market, unlock new revenue opportunities and scale AI services with greater confidence, while giving enterprises a secure and flexible foundation for their most demanding AI workloads,” said Sush Kajaria, EMEA Alliance Sales Director, Nutanix.

Analyst Highlights the Importance of Secure AI Cloud Operations

Steve McDowell, Principal Analyst at NAND Research, highlighted how AI infrastructure providers are expanding beyond GPU capacity towards more comprehensive managed AI services.

“AI infrastructure providers are evolving beyond GPU capacity to deliver trusted inference environments, workload orchestration, agent lifecycle management, and managed AI services. The differentiator will be a cloud-like operating model that combines performance with control, isolation, and security at every layer of the stack.”

Availability

The jointly developed Nutanix and Netris solution is planned to enter technology preview in early 2027.
