Microsoft today announced the availability of a new wave of transformative services on its Azure UAE Regions, empowering local and regional organizations to further advance their digital ambitions while benefiting from data residency within the UAE.
The newly launched services — Azure Purview, Azure Arc–enabled servers, Azure Communication Services, and Azure Machine Learning — strengthen Microsoft’s cloud capabilities across governance, multi-cloud management, communication APIs, and artificial intelligence. With these additions, regional Microsoft Cloud customers can now access nearly the full suite of Azure’s intelligent and trusted tools to drive innovation, agility, and resilience.

- Azure Purview – A unified data governance solution that enables organizations to manage and safeguard data across on-premises, multi-cloud, and SaaS environments. Through automated data discovery and classification, it provides a holistic, up-to-date view of the entire data estate, ensuring compliance and transparency.
- Azure Arc–enabled Servers – Brings Azure’s management and security capabilities to hybrid and multi-cloud environments. It allows consistent governance of Windows and Linux servers, whether on-premises or hosted by other cloud providers, using tools like Azure Policy and tagging.
