Under this initiative, Airtel is partnering with top global consulting and tech leaders—including Accenture, AWS, Cisco, Ericsson, Google Cloud, Nokia, and Tata Consultancy Services—to collaborate with prominent brands like Apollo Hospitals, Flipkart, and several leading manufacturers in testing advanced 5G-driven solutions .
These solutions utilize Airtel’s dedicated 5G test spectrum and encompass use cases such as Smart Factory, Smart Healthcare, 5G-enabled quality inspection, Digital Twin, connected frontline workforces, and AR/VR-powered applications .
Demonstrations of these use cases are taking place both at end-user premises and in Airtel’s state-of-the-art 5G lab located within the Network Experience Centre in Manesar (Gurgaon) .

Airtel’s leadership in 5G innovation in India is further demonstrated by its earlier achievements, such as showcasing the country’s first live 5G experience over an active 4G network, conducting the first rural 5G trial, and delivering the first 5G-powered cloud gaming experience .
Moreover, Airtel is actively advancing the O-RAN Alliance’s vision in India, forging partnerships with organizations like the Tata Group, Qualcomm, Intel, Mavenir, and Altiostar to push the development of open, interoperable 5G infrastructure.
