ACC and Ambuja Cement choose Hughes Communications India’s Managed Services for seamless connectivity

Hughes Communications India (HCI), a leading provider of broadband satellite and managed network services, has been chosen by ACC and Ambuja Cement Limited to deploy its Managed Dual LTE/4G high-availability solution. The deployment adds a diverse backup path to the companies’ SD-WAN networks across manufacturing units, enhancing network reliability for critical business applications.

HCI will deliver a turnkey solution that includes setup, installation, and end-to-end support. The service features dual 2 Mbps LTE/4G links from different telecom providers with automatic failover, ensuring uninterrupted connectivity. The customer-premises equipment comes with dual LTE modules supporting advanced routing and security protocols. In case of primary network downtime, the solution guarantees connectivity for vital applications such as ERP, voice, and internet access.

The managed service also offers an intuitive reporting interface with a single dashboard for network monitoring, device visibility, and user activity management, streamlining operations and support.

“We are excited to partner with ACC and Ambuja Cement in their digital transformation journey,” said Shivaji Chatterjee, President & MD, HCI. “Our suite of managed services—including secure LTE, managed broadband, and SD-WAN with zero-touch provisioning—provides robust performance and visibility, helping enterprises achieve reliable and agile networks. We look forward to supporting the group’s business and network performance goals with our best-in-class offerings.”
